Summary

We, at Sourcery, are looking for a talented remote Python developer who will be responsible for develop and maintain the back-end of our high-performance web application

Job responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of design and development of applications using Python
  • Professional experience in developing AWS serverless solution design, development, and deployment
  • Solid knowledge of programming leveraging Cloud native technologies such as Lambda, Kafka, Kinesis etc.
  • Solid knowledge in AWS core integration stacks, including but not limited AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, AWS DynamoDB, AWS API Gateway, AWS Serverless stack, AWS S3, AWS SNS, AWS SQS.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL such as DynamoDB
  • Solid development good practices including logging, performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Gitlab
  • Work with a development team in Europe

Technologies used:

  • Python
  • AWS Services: Lambda, DynamoDB (DB + Stream), SQS, EventBridge, AppSync, S3 (Storage + Stream), SNS, OpenSearch, StepFunctions, ECS, ECR, Cognito, AppConfig, CloudWatch, XRay.
  • Stripe
  • Terraform (desirable)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
